I posted this in tech first, but I figured it would get more exposure here. Well, week ago, my car seemed to run rough after start up, kind of going putt-putt, and my dashlights, CD player, and headlights were dim. But after a quick rev, above 3000 RPM, the problem went away. Now, the problem persists, the car seems to have less pull than it did, the lights stay dim, tonight on the way home from work my CD player didn't come on, and it "putts" during all operation. There is no smoke, no knocks, no leaks, oil is still full, coolant is still full, no funny smells...I don't know what the problem is. The car was running excellent a week ago and now this. I am taking it to my mechanic tommorow on the way to work, just looking for your opions. I've never had an alternator go out on me, could that be the problem? Thanks in advance..
